Description
Fruit-body flattened cylindrical to narrowly club-shaped, forked-branched, 2-4 cm x 3-6 mm. Upper part black, conidia turning it white-yellow. April to May.
Stem hairy, black.

Occurrence
On haws buried in humus on the edge of woods, in shrubberies (in sand dunes) and in broad-leaved woods.
Parasitic.
