Description
Less than 1cm: Use magnifying glass.
Fruit-body regularly dented, cushion-shaped, Ø 4-6 mm, red-brown, appearing smooth due to inconspicuous papillae. Stroma hard, dark brown.

Occurrence
On branches of broad-leaved trees (Alder, Hazel).
Saprophyte.
