Sowerbyella imperialis

Description
Fruit-body flattened beaker- to saucer-shaped, Ø 2-4 cm. Inner surface bright orange-yellow. Outer surface clayey, creamy yellow, deep-rooting with felted stem. Flesh whitish.

Occurrence
On humus-rich soil in broad-leaved woods and (dune) shrubberies.
