Description
Fruit-body beaker-shaped, remaining vesicular and closed for a long time, Ø 3-10 cm. Inner surface pale ochrous-yellow to ochrous brown-yellow. Outer surface floccose scurfy, whitish or pale dingy ochrous yellow to pale yellow-brown, with irregularly torn margin. Flesh thick, fragile, pale ochrous yellow.
Occurrence
Often fused in groups on litter, wood chips, straw, compost, manure and cardboard. Spring to autumn.
Saprophyte.
