Description
Less than 1cm: Use magnifying glass.
Fruit-body cup-shaped, with long stem, Ø 3-6 mm. Inner surface smooth, grey-brown to yellow-brown. Outer surface grey-brown to yellow-brown.
Stem yellow-brown.
Most common are the conidiaphores of Monilia fructigena, which appear in the shape of zones of yellow cushions. The perfect form or teleomorph Sclerotinia fructigena, which appears on mummified fruit in spring, is rare.

Occurrence
On the peel of rotting apples and pears.
Parasitic.
