Description
Less than 1cm: Use magnifying glass.
Fruit-body cup- to saucer-shaped, Ø 0.5-1 cm. Inner surface olive- to red-brown. Outer surface olive- to red-brown, with stem.
Occurrence
On fallen, lightly decayed branches of Oak and Alder in broad-leaved and mixed woods, parks and avenues. Spring to autumn.
Saprophyte.
