Description
Less than 1cm: Use magnifying glass.
Fruit-body beaker- to saucer-shaped, Ø 3-10 mm. Inner surface creamy-ochre to ochrous-brown. Outer surface faintly pruinose, white fimbriated scored margin, ochrous-brown, with long stem.
Stem light brown.
Occurrence
On mummified (buried) male Alder catkins in damp woods and shrubberies. February to April.
Saprophyte.
