Lachnellula willkommii

Description
Less than 1cm: Use magnifying glass.
Fruit-body beaker- to saucer-shaped, Ø 1-5 mm. Inner surface egg-yellow to orange. Outer surface and margin densely covered with hairs, with short stem.

Occurrence
On branches of Larch and on or near tumours on Larch (Larix decidua).
Parasitic.

Related and/or similar species
This species can only be distinguished from Lachnellula occidentalis by microscopic features. Also Lachnellula calyciformis and Lachnellula subtilissima on Fir and Spruce trees.
