Description
Fruit-body club-shaped, 3-6 cm high. Upper part widening to 7 mm, flattened with longitudinal grooves, distinct from the stem, matt to shiny olive-green.
Stem flattened with longitudinal grooves, finely-clayey, blue-green to yellow-green, 2-3 cm x 2-4 mm.
Occurrence
On dry and damp, loamy sandy soil in mixed woods and along brooks.
Saprophyte.
