Description
Fruit-body with cap and stem, 3-6 cm high. Cap 1-2 cm wide, convex with curled in, irregularly lobed margin, gelatinous. Upper surface greasy, green-yellow to greenish olive-brown. Stem finely clayey, ochre with fine, greenish granules, 2-4 cm x 3-8 mm.

Occurrence
On loamy and loam-free, poor sandy soil or rich clay or sand in broad-leaved and mixed woods and avenues.
Saprophyte, possibly forming ectomycorrhiza.
