Hypocrea citrina

Description
Fruit-body crust-like, Ø from a few centimetres to several decimetres. Upper surface creamy yellow to lemon-yellow, evenly spread dark yellow dots (like semolina pudding) and with irregular, white margin.

Occurrence
On rotting wood and stumps, often covering and enclosing mosses and leaves.
Saprophyte.
