Description

Aethalium irregularly cushion-shaped, often with trail, Ø 2-13 cm, 0.5-3 cm high, spongy, brittle, rough and fragile, lemon-yellow, green-yellow to ochre. Plasmodium yellow.
Occurrence
Frequent on dead wood and other substrates. In the past often on the tannin-containing bark used in tanneries.
