Description
Fruit-body strongly compressed folds to leaf-shaped lobes, 3-10 cm. Outer surface shiny, candy-brown to reddish orange-brown. Flesh gelatinous, soft.

Occurrence
Fairly common on branches and trunks of deciduous trees (Birch, Oak) in mixed woods on sandy soil.
Saprophyte.
