Description
Fruit-body hemispherical to cushion-shaped, brain-like convoluted Ø 1-3 cm. Outer surface shiny, whitish or yellowish to pink-brown. Flesh gelatinous, translucent, with hard, white core.
Occurrence
Not uncommon on or near fruit-bodies of Stereum sanguinolentum on trunks of coniferous trees.
Parasitic.
