Description
Fruit-body repeatedly branched, coral-shaped, 10-15 cm high, 10-20 cm wide. Branches 1-2 cm thick, repeatedly branched U-shaped, usually ending in a double or triple, pointed tip, salmon-yellow to salmon-orange with yellow tips.
Stem 4-5 cm thick, salmon to salmon-yellow, with whitish, tapering base. Flesh soft, white.
Deadly poisonous.
Occurrence
On the soil in avenues with deciduous trees (Beech, Oak) on poor calcareous soils.
