Description
Less than 1cm: Use magnifying glass.
Fruit-body annual, leathery crust-like, with shelf-like, shell-shaped caps. Cap 1 x 2.5 cm. Upper surface faintly zoned, finely felted, whitish, with acute margin.
Tubes to 1 mm long, yellowish. Pores 3-4 per mm, circular to angular, whitish to yellow-pink or orange-pink to salmon. Flesh fibrous to gelatinous.
Spore-print colour white.

Occurrence
On stumps, trunks and branches of coniferous trees, favouring Fir.
Saprophyte.
