Description
Less than 1cm: Use magnifying glass.
Fruit-body perennial, flattened cushion-shaped, forming strips measuring a few square centimetres to 1 m in length, 1-2.5 cm thick, with velvety, light growth zone.
Tubes each layer 2-7 mm long, tobacco-brown. Pores 4-5 mm, circular, whitish to light or dark brown with a silvery sheen.
Spore-print colour white.
Occurrence
On (processed) Oak wood, in buildings.
Saprophyte.
