Description
An anamorphous or imperfect form of Sulphur Polypore (Laetiporus sulphureus) also occurs.
Fruit-body annual, bulb-shaped or flattened cushion-shaped, 5-15 x 3-7 cm, 2-5 cm thick, soft, velvety, sulphur-yellow to yellow-brown, often with large, pale guttation drops, disintegrating to a cinnamon mass. (Chlamydo)-spores cinnamon.

Occurrence
In hollows of Oak trunks.
(Parasitic?).
