Description
Fruit-body waxy, thin, crust-like, up to several cm long. Upper surface densely covered with spines, sulphur-yellow or waxy yellow to ochre-yellow. Spines pointed, 1-2 mm long.
Spore-print colour white.
Occurrence
Fairly common on fallen wood of deciduous trees, especially on the underside.
