Description
Less than 1cm: Use magnifying glass.
Fruit-body very thin, crust-like, covering up to a few square centrimetres. Upper surface cobweb-like or granular with fine warts or spines, white to cream, ciliate margin with white rhizomorphs.

Occurrence
Common on half-decayed wood of deciduous and coniferous trees.
Saprophyte.

Status
Common.
