Cerocorticium confluens

Description
Fruit-body crust-like, waxy, covering up to several square decimetres. Upper surface lumpy-warty, smooth, cream to grey-ochre with a hint of blue, with clearly demarcated, often ciliate margin. Smell of hospital disinfectants.

Occurrence
Common on wood of deciduous trees.
Saprophyte.
