Description
Fruit-body growing from a short stem, repeatedly branched, coral-shaped, 3-10 cm high. Branches 4-8 mm wide, round to flattened, forking, with round to dentate tip 1-2 mm wide, ochre with lilac tinge to grey-lilac or violet-grey.
Stem whitish to grey-lilac. Flesh tough, white. Smell musty.
Suspect.

Occurrence
Fairly common on the soil among humus in deciduous and coniferous woods.
Forming ectomycorrhiza?
Saprophyte.
