Description
Fruit-body coral-shaped, 25-45 mm high. Forked branched, branches round to flattened with an acute top, golden-yellow to saffron-yellow.
Stipe 5-15 m long, golden- to saffron-yellow, mostly white felted at the base. Flesh elastic.
Occurrence
On the soil in unmanured dry grasslands, dune and Juniper shrubberies, sometimes in deciduous forests, on weak acidic, sandy soil.
Saprophyte.
