Description
Cap shell- to fan-shaped, stem short or absent, Ø 4-7 cm, felted, granular-scaly, matt, cream to olive-yellow or brown-yellow, with thin incurved margin.
Gills close, interconnected at the base, whitish ochre to olive-yellow or pale cinnamon.
Stem absent or very short, eccentric, olive-yellow to brown-yellow. Flesh whitish yellowish. Taste mild. Smell none.
Suspect.

Occurrence
On dead trunks, stumps and thick branches of coniferous trees (Fir) in coniferous woods on poor sandy soil, occasionally on processed wood of coniferous trees outside the woods or near buildings.
Saprophyte.
