Description
Cap hemispherical to convex, Ø 2-5 cm, matt, straw-yellow with olive tinge to reddish brown.
Tubes lemon-yellow to ochre. Pores lemon-yellow, turning rusty brown.
Stem 3-4 x 1 cm, often curved, straw-colour to reddish brown. Flesh pale lemon-yellow. Taste none. Smell faint.
Spore-print colour olive-brown.

Occurrence
Fairly common, parasitic on Common Earth-ball (Scleroderma citrinum (401.jpg)) in deciduous and mixed woods.
