Description
Cap broadly funnel-shaped, Ø 10-25 cm, finely woolly, white to cream, with yellowish to pale reddish cinnamon blotches, with incurved margin when young.
Gills brittle, decurrent, pale ochre to cream.
Stem 4-7 x 2-4 cm, firm, finely velvety, white to cream. Flesh white, milk white. Taste mild.
Spore-print colour white.

Occurrence
Near deciduous trees, favouring Oak, in woods, roadsides and avenues.
Forming ectomycorrhiza.
