Description
Cap convex with low, broad umbo, Ø 4-7 cm, downy to felted, light dark grey.
Gills whitish to grey.
Stem 3-8 cm x 10-15 mm, silky, white, with remnants of cortina on stem. Flesh whitish grey. Smell faint, flour-like.
Edible.

Occurrence
Near Fir in coniferous woods and roadsides on calcareous soil.
Forming ectomycorrhiza.
