Description
Cap kidney-shaped, lateral stem, Ø 3-7 cm, matt, sticky when damp, ochre to olive-green.
Gills pale yellow to orange-yellow, becoming pale.
Stem 10-25 x 8-15 mm, yellow or yellowish, with minute brown scales. Flesh white, with a gelatinous layer. Taste faint. Smell faint, sweet.
Edible.
Occurrence
Common on dead trunks and stumps of deciduous trees (Alder, Birch, Beech, Oak) in woods. Autumn to winter.
