Description
Cap shell- to kidney-shaped, stem absent or short, Ø 5-30 mm, matt, white to yellowish or pink-brown.
Gills partially forked, white to grey-pink or pink-ochre, with separable, gelatinous edge.
Stem 2-7 x 2-5 mm, fibrous-floccose, whitish, occasionally with pink tinge. Flesh tough, elastic, 2-layered, watery grey-white to olive-brown. Taste mild. Smell mushroomy.

Occurrence
Fairly common on branches and twigs of coniferous trees on dry, poor sand. Autumn to winter.
Saprophyte.
