Description
Cap convex to expanded, Ø 2-5 cm, finely striped, pink or lilac when damp; matt, pale pink or lilac when dry.
Gills adnate, pink.
Stem 5-10 cm x 4-10 mm, stiff, whitish pink, with white-felted base. Flesh white. Smell of radish.
Poisonous.
Occurrence
Common on leaf and needle litter of deciduous trees (Oak, Beech) and coniferous trees (Spruce, Fir) in woods, tangled growth and grasslands.
Saprophyte.
