Description
Less than 1cm: Use magnifying glass.
Cap convex or expanded with depressed centre, Ø 8-17 mm, smooth, radially furrowed-striped, matt beige-brown or shiny flesh-brown.
Gills membranous, thin, whitish.
Stem 1-3 cm x 1 mm, hairy-felted, black-brown, paler to whitish at the apex. Flesh whitish. Smell unpleasant, cabbage-like or garlicky.

Occurrence
Fairly common on needles and needle litter (Spruce, Fir) on sandy soil. In groups.
Saprophyte.
