Marasmiellus vaillantii

Description
Less than 1cm: Use magnifying glass.
Cap expanded to irregularly plane, with depressed centre, Ø 0.5-1.5 cm, wrinkled, matt, whitish, with pale yellow-brown to rusty brown centre.
Gills distant, white to cream.
Stem 1-3 cm x 1-2 mm, whitish yellowish with brown base. Flesh cream. Smell faint, mushroomy.

Occurrence
On grasses, herbaceous plants, foliage of deciduous trees, occasionally on branches and twigs, in open vegetation, marshes, tangled growth and woods.
Saprophyte. (Parasitic?)
