Description
Cap irregularly convex, occasionally with umbo, Ø 2-4 cm, sticky to smooth, lemon-yellow to egg-yellow, with orange tinge.
Gills broad, distant, light yellow.
Stem 3-4 cm x 2-4 mm, dry, lemon-yellow, with whitish base. Flesh light yellow. Smell none.

Occurrence
Not uncommon in poor, mossy grasslands, in grassy locations in sand dunes and on dykes and in roadsides.
Saprophyte.
