Description
Cap hemispherical to flattened, Ø 10-35 mm, smooth, shiny and sticky, white-yellow to pale yellow with faint olive tinge when damp; cream, with translucent striped margin when dry.
Gills broad, decurrent, white to cream.
Stem 3-6 cm x 3-7 mm, elastic, smooth, matt, whitish to creamy white, occasionally with pink tinge at the tapering base. Flesh watery cream. Smell strong, of Cedar or Russia leather.
Occurrence
In poor grasslands, roadsides and on dykes on sand or clay.
Saprophyte.
