Description
Cap shell- to fan-shaped, stem absent or short, Ø 1-5 cm, greyish brown to dingy white, whitish to creamy fibrous.
Gills cream to yellowish cream, occasionally with brownish edge.
Stem absent, or 3 x 3-5 mm, white-felted. Flesh whitish. Taste flour-like. Smell faint, flour-like.

Occurrence
On dead trunks and branches of deciduous trees (Mountain ash, Oak, Beech, Birch) in deciduous woods.
Saprophyte.
