Description
Cap convex to flattened funnel-shaped, occasionally umbilicate, Ø 5-15 mm, striped, white.
Gills decurrent, white.
Stem 2-5 cm x 0.5-1 mm, whitish grey. Flesh white. Smell faint.
Occurrence
At the base of the stalk of Comfrey (Symphytum officinale) in woods, roadsides and tangled growth on damp, fertile clay.
Parasitic. (Saprophyte).
