Description
Cap bell-shaped, then expanded with umbo, Ø 2-6 cm, granular-mealy, dingy white or beige to flesh or light grey with pink tinge, floccose at the margin.
Gills white to cream.
Stem 3-6 cm x 3-7 mm, smooth, white, below the upturned, membranous ring granular-floccose zones, whitish to cream, occasionally with swollen base. Flesh whitish. Smell unpleasant.
Suspect.

Occurrence
On humus-rich soil and litter in coniferous and deciduous woods, heathlands and roadsides with poor soil and grasslands on sandy or loamy soil.
Saprophyte.
