Description
Cap convex-umbilicate to funnel-shaped, Ø 4-5 cm, smooth, translucent caramel-coloured beige when damp; dull pink when dry.
Gills broad, whitish to creamy beige.
Stem 3-4 cm x 3-4 mm, whitish cream to pale brown. Flesh creamy beige. Smell mushroomy.
Occurrence
Fairly common on leaves and needles in woods on moderately rich sand or loam.
Saprophyte.
