Floury Funnel-cap
Description
Cap flattened funnel-shaped, Ø 2-5 cm, smooth, translucent striped, grey-brown to beige-brown when damp; whitish beige with striped margin when dry.
Gills deeply decurrent, grey-brown to beige.
Stem 3-6 cm x 3-8 mm, grey-brown, whitish fibrous. Flesh watery grey-brown. Smell faint, flour-like.
Suspect.
Occurrence
Common among leaves and needles in woods on poor sand or loam.
Saprophyte.
