Description
Cap hemispherical to flattened expanded, Ø 3-6 cm, slightly slimy-sticky, blue-green or yellow-green to pale yellow or pale ochre, often with yellowish blotches, with evanescent, whitish scales at the margin.
Gills light reddish brown to dark brown.
Stem 4-7 cm x 4-10 mm, finely felted at the apex, whitish to pale blue, below the imperfect ring with upturned, whitish scales on a blue or blue-green background, turning yellowish, white-felted at the base. Flesh white to blue-green. Taste mild. Smell faint, somewhat sour.
Suspect.

Occurrence
Common on coarse litter and wood chips, among leaves and grass debris in woods, parks, gardens and public gardens. Summer to autumn.
