Description
Cap convex to plane, Ø 2-5 cm, slightly sticky, smooth, light ochre to lemon-yellow or yellow-greenish with ochre-brown to reddish brown centre.
Gills close, grey-cream to cinnamon.
Stem 2-7 cm x 2-4 mm, fibrous-floccose, white to light yellow, with fibrous ring zone and brown at the base. Flesh whitish cream to yellow-brown. Taste mild.
Occurrence
Fairly common on dead wood of deciduous trees (Willow) or on buried wood or roots of grasses (Reed) in marshy spots.
