Description
Cap bell-shaped to expanded, Ø 2-7 cm, dry, shiny, whitish, with dentate margin.
Gills white to pale pink.
Stem 3-7 cm x 2-6 mm, downy, whitish to Isabella, the base enclosed in a white or faded ochrous yellow, sac-like, 2- to 4-lobed volva. Flesh drab white to pale yellow. Smell faint.
Occurrence
On humus-rich soil in deciduous woods and parks or in grasslands on rich, calcareous sand or clay.
