Description
Cap bell-shaped to convex, Ø 2-4 cm, scaly-felted, radially-fibrous, indigo to blue-brown or violet-brown with black centre.
Gills distant, grey-violet to grey-pink, with brownish edge.
Stem 3-5 cm x 2-3 mm, bluish. Flesh whitish. Smell none.

Occurrence
In poor grasslands and roadsides on sand, peat bog or chalk.
Saprophyte.
