Description
Cap bell-shaped to flattened convex, Ø 1-3 cm, smooth, translucent striped, pale yellow or lemon-yellow, with paler marginal zone.
Gills white or pale-yellow to pink.
Stem 2-7 cm x 2-4 mm, pale yellow or greyish brown to pink-brown. Flesh pale yellowish olive colour. Smell strong, of burnt sugar, fruity.
Occurrence
Not uncommon on humus in woods on rich soil, parks and gardens, often under stinging nettles.
Saprophyte.
