Moss Pixy Cap
Description
Cap bell-shaped to convex, Ø 4-15 mm, smooth, translucent striped, dingy honey-yellow when damp; yellow-brown or ochre-brown when dry.
Gills ochre-brown.
Stem 15-40 x 1-2 mm, pale yellowish ochre, pruinose at the apex and dark at the base.
Occurrence
Common among mosses on the ground and on mossy trunks and branches.
Saprophyte.
