Psathyrella typhae

Description
Cap convex or bell-shaped to flattened, Ø 7-15 mm, with fine whitish veil remnants radially, up to the middle translucent striped, damp dark red-brown, dry beige-brown with a darker centre, the rim sharp and weakly notched.
Gills whitish to light brown or reddish brown.
Stem 6-15 x 0.7-1.5 mm, in the length whitish filamentous-floccose except for a at the top whitish to the base increasing light brown or grey brown background.
Flesh thin, whitish. Taste mild. Smell absent.

Occurrence
On dead leafs and stems of marshland plants (Bulrushes, Typha species), often just above water level, in peat-swamps, dune lakes, enriched waters and ditches.
Saprophyte.
