Description
Cap bell-shaped to convex, occasionally with umbo, Ø 2-4 cm, matt, red-brown or purple-brown to chestnut, paling grey-pink to grey-beige.
Gills grey-pink to brownish.
Stem 4-6 cm x 3-5 mm, elastic, longitudinally light brown fibrous on a flesh background, grey-brown at the base. Flesh pin-grey to watery brown. Taste mild. Smell fruity.
Suspect.

Occurrence
On humus-rich soil, occasionally on wood chips, in parks, gardens and deciduous woods on rich, humus soil. Summer to autumn.
Saprophyte.
