Coprinus congregatus

Description
Cap conical, Ø 8-12 mm, 5-20 mm high, ochre-brown to greyish, with yellow-brown centre.
Gills cream or reddish brown to black.
Stem 2-8 cm x 1-4 mm, whitish, with white-felted base.
Flesh brownish. Smell faint, pleasant.

Occurrence
On manure rich in straw in flowerbeds and on dunghills rich in straw. In clusters.
Saprophyte.
