Conocybe arrhenii

Description
Cap campanulate to expanded with umbo, Ø 2-3 cm, matt, reddish brown to ochrous yellow, striped at the margin.
Gills loam-coloured to rusty brown.
Stem 1-4 cm x 2-5 mm, pruinose-striped, whitish to silvery cream, with a membranous ring, which is striped on the upper surface. Taste mild. Smell mushroomy.

Occurrence
On the ground in broad-leaved woods, parks and avenues on humus-rich sand or clay. Summer to autumn.
Saprophyte.
