Description
Cap obtuse conical, Ø 1-4 cm, matt, ochrous brown to cinnamon, drying yellow-brown. Gills adnate, close, whitish to cinnamon.
Stem 5-10 cm x 4-7 mm, brittle, finely pruinose, whitish with pale ochrous brown tinge. Flesh pale ochrous brown. Smell mushroomy.

Occurrence
On the ground in grasslands, parks and roadsides, occasionally in broad-leaved woods, on moderately rich soil. Early summer to autumn.
Saprophyte.
